Beth,
I wanted to let you know what a great time we had in the cabin this weekend. It was so nice to get away from the city. The cabin was so well maintained with everything and more than we could have asked for all the way down to the hairdryer that we forgot to bring. We will def. Call on you again when we come back to Blue Ridge. : )

This is our third summer of
trips to the mountains and you

third!!!! I would like to book
Cloud Nine for three nights
starting June 30 (think that is
a Friday). Need it for that
Friday, Saturday and Sunday
leaving on Monday... (June 30,
July 1, July2), but we have
enjoyed each stay so much- we
knew where we were going and
didn't need to even bother
looking around.
I have been a beach person all
my life till two years ago...
and now I am hooked on the
mountains.. and we are also
talking of a weekend during the
fall... and of course... you are
not my1st pick... you are my
only pick...your selections are
great.. .and the prices are nice
too....

I had the pleasure of spending 2
days in one of the most
beautiful and peaceful cabins I
have ever seen from November 10,
2006 to November 12, 2006. My
guests were of all age ranges
and everyone found something
different they enjoyed about the
“Up The Creek” cabin. I have
vacationed in cabins in
Minnesota, Wisconsin and even
Canada, but your cabin exceeds
by far all expectations. The
atmosphere created upon entry is
overwhelming! You now have a
customer for life. I am
presently making plans to return
in January 2007.

The Winters – Oct. 2006
Beth:
The weekend at
Sleepy Hollow here in the
mountains has been nothing short
of wonderful. We have had the
most fun, maybe that we have
ever had. We did find out that
operating manuals for all of
this sophisticated electronic
equipment is available on
premises. We had a time figuring
out the oven! The hot tub is
heaven on earth. The lake is
gorgeous and quite nice to swim
in.
I have left a new
fishing pole and tackle box
under the canoe for future
guests since I will not be using
it. The bed was very comfortable
and the cabin is just so
beautiful as well as the
location being at the end of the
road is great. That way, no one
drives by and we liked that. As
you can see, the high speed
cable works just fine as well.
We will be headed out shortly,
but wanted to tell you that we
will be in touch in the coming
week or so to check on
availability after the holiday
weekend. We decided that this is
the only place we want to come
to during our weekends off.

and supplying us this
spectacular place to unwind.
By the way the
back grill was not mentioned and
we made some fabulous meals with
it! The fire pit was cool to as
we built a roaring fire last
night and watched it from the
hot tub!

Our family
enjoyed our stay at Fish Tales
very much. It was the perfect
cabin in an absolutely gorgeous
setting. My husband had a great
time fishing right in front of
the cabin and the kids enjoyed
tubing the river as well. I
already checked to see if the
cabin was booked for
Thanksgiving...and unfortunately
it is. We will be back for more
though!

I wanted "Thank
You" for allowing us this great
opportunity to stay at "Up The
Creek"! It exceeded all of our
expectations. None of us wanted
to leave. We wish our time would
have allowed us to have stayed
longer. My mother had the best
time of her life. Alzheimer's is
a horrible disease. Mama said
she hopes God will allow her
memory to stay longer with her
so she can remember what all she
got to experience on this trip.
This trip had alot of "firsts"
for her: 1st time to the
mountains, staying in a cabin,
panning for gold, hikes to the
creek, getting in an hot tub.
She played pool for over 3
hours. The smile on her face and
the laugh from her heart will
forever be with us. We hope to
visit again sometime in October.

Your cabin (Dream
Weaver) is outstanding and we
had a great trip. We try to
make a couple of beach trips and
a couple of mountain trips each
year. I think we would have a
unanimous vote that your cabin
was the nicest we've found so
far. We saw a lot of wildlife
in the area. We even had a bear
come up on the porch that we
were able to watch. I'm sure we
will be in touch to stay there
again.

Beth,
I just wanted to
let you know that all of us
thoroughly enjoyed the cabin.
First, it is beautiful and
second kudos to your staff, the
place was immaculate. We cleaned
as we left, I can only imagine
how hard everyone works at your
company.
My Mom, whom has
a cabin in Morganton – was very
impressed and most of those
relatives staying with her –
were a bit envious of our luxury
accommodations. We will be back
(obviously) but when we do need
overflow accommodations, I will
contact you.
As I said in my
note to the owner’s – we white
water rafted on the Ocoee,
rented boats and jet skis on
Lake Blue Ridge, hiked a couple
of mountain trails, and even
manager to fit in a little
shopping. IT WAS HOT! We are all
tired, sunburned, and sore – but
very happy (especially now that
we are home) and my Mom could
not have had a better 65th.
We had her B’day dinner at the
Toccoa Riverside ( I discovered
that last year is the only place
to let you bring in your own
wine…May want to make a note to
future renters. Food is
marginal, but the view is
awesome and the staff is so very
friendly)

Hampshire, Medfield MA and
Cincinnati), we thank you.

Just a little
note...We had a great time at
the lake house (A Lakehouse on
Blue Ridge). We caught a
catfish and a bluegill so the
kids were excited. The
neighbors were great and even
took our kids out in their
boat. Anyone who has kids
should go to
this house because the neighbors
on both sides have kids and they
played all day every day. We
sat on the deck and watched the
fireworks. Very nice. We got
there very late Friday so you
can imagine what it was like
going through the woods after
dark but the directions were
great. However, if I had to
make a suggestion to anyone who
goes I would say, make sure you
get there in
daylight hours. Thank you so
much and we will be calling you
again.
